BHANSA provides regional air traffic control services in the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As one of the youngest air navigation service providers in Europe, the organisation continues to advance its modernisation programme in order to remain aligned with developments across the European ATM landscape, including Common Project One (CP1) requirements and interoperability with neighbouring service providers.
Drawing on its operational, technical and economic expertise, as well as its extensive experience in supporting comparable ATM programmes across Europe, Egis will assist BHANSA in developing the business case, defining technical requirements, and establishing the procurement strategy for the future system.
The first phase of the project has recently commenced and is scheduled for completion this summer, followed by continued procurement support over the coming year.
Egis’ involvement will cover business case development, preparation of technical specifications and procurement strategy, ultimately supporting the award of the contract to the selected supplier. Through this collaboration, Egis will support BHANSA in implementing an effective procurement approach and securing a solution aligned with its long-term operational needs.
Egis and BHANSA were pleased to mark the start of this collaboration at Airspace World and look forward to progressing together through the next stages of this important programme.
